Introduction
C6 FUEL is an active dry yeast (ADY) for use in fuel ethanol. It contains a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae distillers' yeast well suited for use in higher solids fermentations. C6 FUEL also is more temperature, alcohol and higher sugar concentration tolerant than most "normal" strains of ADY. High concentrations and temperatures improve productivity and efficiency by producing more alcohol in less time. C6 FUEL has set unmatched quality standards to ensure maximum consistency in both product characteristics and performance.
Description
C6 FUEL contains a specially selected strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae. It is a highly concentrated and stable form of yeast with a solids content of >94% by weight. The average cell number of live cells of C6 FUEL is greater than 2x1010 per gram.
Applications
Can be used to ferment multiple feedstocks ranging from corn, wheat, rye, barley and starch.
Packaging
10-kilogram vacuum-sealed foil bag.
